In line with Commission for Social Care, it is the intention of the proprietors to provide for the individual needs of those who choose to reside at Anglesey Court Residential Home and may be able to care for themselves independently.

Recognising that elderly members of the community are equally entitled to the highest degree of care, respect and security. Anglesey Court endeavours to maintain excellent standards, which are centred at the individuality and preferred needs and wishes of the Residents

Wherever possible, Residents are encouraged to maintain their appropriate level of independence and will where possible be involved in the running of their home. They will be consulted on all matters which affect their care and where necessary relatives will also be consulted.

Staff involved at any level will be required to maintain exacting professional standards at all times. Staff will be fully aware of the needs for confidentiality in all aspects of the Residents care, any queries concerning Residents welfare will be referred to the Manager. No information regarding the Residents state of Health or any personal matters will be discussed with visitors or in the community.

Appropriate liaison with the Commission for Social Care Inspectorate and the Care Quality Commission is a priority, in order that Residents may benefit from up to date advice and examples of good practice.

The personal privacy of all Residents is a priority and routine tasks will always take account of the needs and wishes of each individual.
